For many of us, cars are such an essential part of our lives, so when something goes wrong it is almost as if a part of them has failed. To understand this, is to understand why I was determined when starting Mr Clutch, that when we repaired a customer's vehicle there should be no compromise.

My aim was, and still is, to create complete customer trust and satisfaction, through delivering a level of service that was, quite simply, unbeatable. This is the philosophy that still drives everything we do and it is the reason that Mr Clutch is now nationally recognised as the UK's leading clutch, brake and gearbox specialist.

We provide customers with the best range of value for money products and services by means of committed, motivated and properly trained people who believe in what they do and take pride in their work. Today, our range of services ensures that you can make the most of your car and our level of investment in new technology shows that we want to provide you with the best, and in some cases free, means to maintain your car.

Mr Clutch Company History

The Mr Clutch brand is nationally recognised as one of the premier autocentre groups in England. We have over forty branches across the country providing a wide range of garage services; these include the fitting of clutches, brakes and manual transmissions. We are also able to carry out full car servicing, general repairs and, in selected centres, MOT testing.

The company's history goes back to 1978 when brothers Joseph and Will Yussuf opened their first branch. Today, both are still very active in business and it is their drive that has seen the brand move from being clutch specialists to offering full autocentre repair services too. Their vision has seen the original company grow into the large, dynamic automotive organisation we know today, but because it is still family-owned, it retains its original value.
