MOT
MOT testing is a legal requirement for all cars and vehicles over 3 years old, with the purpose of making sure that your car meets the minimum safety requirements. Without a valid MOT, your car insurance and road tax become invalidated and your car may not be road worthy. Therefore it’s important that you make sure your MOT certificate is in date and you book your next MOT before your current certificate expires. You can do this up to one month before the end of your current MOT certificate.
We have an MOT testing station in over half of our branches across the Uk, which means your local garage may well be able to fulfill both your car servicing and MOT testing requirements.
What are the benefits of having an MOT at Mr Clutch?
- We offer huge discounts. The current recommended retail price for an MOT is £54, this is set by VOSA the governing body. At almost all of our MOT centres you can find a discount voucher and in some cases we are offering them for as little as £16.
- There is no obligation for onsite repair work. If your vehicle fails its MOT you do not have to have the repair work done by us, giving you that extra peace of mind.
- Qualified testers. All of our MOT testers are fully trained and certified by the governing body VOSA.
- We have ATL test lanes. At some of our autocentres we have automated test lanes which means we can complete your MOT in around 35 minutes.
