Windscreen Chip Repairs  

Chipped windscreens are one of the most important smart repairs to have done.  Even the smallest of chips can lean into a crack or francture and then start to spread and result in the whole windscreen being replaced.

Windscreen repair is a quick process that includes filling, sanding and drying the chip, restoring the windscreen to its original strength.  As well as chipped windscreens we can also repair cracks however it is important that we view these first in order to gauge the severity.

It is a legal requirment to have a windscreen that is safe, secure and able to withstand the force of everyday driving.  As part of an MOT test the windscreen is checked for its condition and security and in some cases a chipped windscreen can cause the vehicle to fail.  At Mr Clutch we can repair any chips or cracks before the MOT test commences.
